Okay, so I’ve been wanting a Rolex Submariner for a while now, specifically that two-tone black one, you know the one. It just looks so classy and goes with everything. But man, those things are expensive! So I thought, why not try to make one myself? Not a real one, of course, but a good-looking replica. I’m not trying to fool anyone, I just want that Submariner style on my wrist without having to sell my car.
First things first, I needed to find the parts. I hopped online and started browsing. There are tons of places that sell watch parts, but it’s kind of overwhelming. I was seeing so many different options and deals for stuff that looks like what is used on a Rolex. Some places were offering crazy discounts, like up to 90% off. It was hard to know what was good and what was junk. I didn’t want to waste my money on something that would fall apart after a week. I was looking through reviews to find something good.
After a lot of searching, I found a few websites that seemed legit. They had good reviews and lots of pictures of their parts. I decided to order a two-tone black Submariner case, a black bezel, a black dial with those classic markers, and a two-tone bracelet. I also got a movement, which is the engine that makes the watch tick. I went with a decent automatic movement because I didn’t want to deal with batteries.

This whole project was a lot of fun, and it was definitely cheaper than buying a real Rolex. It took time to gather parts and make sure I wasn’t wasting money. It was a great deal.
