This watch, you see, it’s called the CopyOMEGA, er, Speedmaster, yeah, that’s it. Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon”, they call it. Sounds fancy, huh? This old lady don’t know much about fancy, but I know a good thing when I see it. And this watch, well, it’s somethin’ else. It’s black, like the night sky without no stars. They say it’s like the dark side of the moon. Well, I ain’t never been to the moon, but I reckon it’s somethin’ like that.
They say this Speedmaster, it’s a CopyOMEGA, but it’s a good one. It got all them numbers and lines on it. And it’s got this strap, black like the watch. They call it Cordura fabric. Sounds tough, like it could handle anythin’. This whole watch, it just looks… solid. Like it could last forever, ya know? Not like them cheap things you see nowadays that break after a week. This CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8 is different.
This here watch, it reminds me of them astronaut fellas. The ones that went to the moon. Long time ago, it was. Back in ’66, I think it was.
