So, I decided to remake that Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Mini-Bag, the one from their online store. Let me tell you, it was a journey. I searched for a while, trying to figure out how to pay. I stumbled upon some info about payment methods, and I found that they accepted Paypal. Then I continued to search in all sorts of categories, like Clothing, Home & Kitchen, Beauty & Health, etc. I mean, I love online shopping as much as the next person, but this was a lot. They were making patterns and reinforcing the bag by hand to bring back its original shape, and I thought, “Maybe I can do something like that?” But I saw an article about McAfee warning about these annoying pop-ups, and it kind of threw me off. Anyway, I dived back in. I started sketching out the bag, trying to get those clean lines right. I even practiced a bit with some scrap materials I had lying around. Honestly, figuring out the size and how all the pieces fit together was a real headache.
After a ton of trial and error, I finally got the basic shape down. Then came the fun part – picking out the materials. I decided to go with some nice leather I found. I even added a little pocket inside, just for kicks.
