This bag, you see, this YSL, they call it, MANHATTAN BAG, oh, it’s something else. It’s from the big city, not like the ones we see around here. They say it’s some kinda “original order”, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, though. Must be good stuff, real good stuff.
First time I saw it, I thought, “What’s all the fuss about?” But then, oh then, you start to notice things. This MANHATTAN BAG, it’s like, simple, you know? Not all flashy like some of those other bags. Just real simple, but nice. Real nice. They say it is “classic”, meaning it never goes out of style, meaning everyone will think it looks good no matter what. Good for money, I guess. Folks say it’s a “good investment”, whatever that means. Money stuff, I reckon.
- This bag, it ain’t cheap.
- But people, they buy it up like hotcakes.
- Must be worth it, I suppose.
They say this bag, this YSL MANHATTAN BAG, it’s made real good. Like, they pay attention to all the little things. Stitching, I guess you call it. And the material, feels strong, you know? Like it’ll last forever. And, oh boy, the color, it’s real pretty. Not too bright, not too dull. Just right. They say the bag is made “carefully” with “attention to small details”, so it must be good quality. It better be for the money.
Now, they got this shiny stuff on it, gold or silver, they say. Fancy, huh? Makes it look even nicer, I reckon. And you can carry it different ways, they say. On your shoulder, or in your hand. Whatever you like. This YSL, it’s the same as this other name, Saint Laurent, don’t ask me why. Fancy city folks with their fancy names, I guess.
I heard some folks, they don’t like it. Say it’s too plain. Well, to each their own, I say. Me, I like it. It’s different. It’s got that… that something. You know what I mean? Like, it’s not trying too hard. It just is. And it’s good. Real good. They say it was first introduced in 2019. That’s not too long ago. This Saint Laurent, or YSL, they know what they doing with these bags, that’s for sure.
They say this MANHATTAN BAG, is like, from some special place, this Saint Laurent. They got all kinds of things, not just bags. Clothes, shoes, all that stuff. All fancy, I bet. These bags got some “logos”, some letters, “YSL” they say. All over the bags sometimes, big as day. Some folks like that, I don’t know why. I like the ones without those big letters, more plain. They say the “sharp” look is good. I guess it is, looks clean, like a whistle.
This here bag, it’s a tote, they call it. Big enough for your things. This one is “medium”, not too big, not too small. Like the one I saw, it got this, like, bumpy look. They call it “crocodile”, like that animal. Looks fancy, but it’s not real, I think. Some of them are real plain, smooth like.

I saw these bags, they selling them online, on the computer. Lots of them. All different kinds. Some old, some new. They say you can buy the old ones for cheaper. Like a bargain, you know? Still good, though. Just not brand new. The old ones are cheaper because people already used them. Still good bags, though.
Now, I don’t know much about this fashion stuff. But I know what I like. And this YSL, this MANHATTAN BAG, I like it. It’s a good bag. A real good bag. If you got the money, maybe you should get one. Or don’t. Up to you. But they are real nice, that’s for sure. They got a whole collection, they say, of these Manhattan bags. Different colors, different sizes. All on that computer place. They say you can get them “online”.
I don’t need a fancy bag, though. Got my old one, it does the job. But this one, this YSL, it’s got me thinking. Maybe one day. Maybe one day I’ll get me one of those MANHATTAN BAG. You never know. But they sure are pretty to look at, that’s the truth. They say it is a “lasting fashion choice”. I guess that means it will always be a good bag to have. Maybe I should get one, what do you think? They sure are popular, everyone is talking about them.
